What is the best way to burn my candle?

When burning your candle, always allow the wax melt pool to reach the edges of the glass before extinguishing. This will allow you to get the best use out of your candle by burning evenly.

Trim your wick to ¼ inch before each burn to avoid wick curling.

Never leave your burning candle unattended. Keep your burning candle out of reach of children, pets or drafts. Burn your candle on a heat-resistant surface. Keep the wick pool free of wick trimmings, matches and debris at all times. Always burn your candle in a well-ventilated room. Allow glassware to cool completely before moving the candle.

How long will my candle last for?

Your 8 oz. candle will last anywhere from 35-40 hours. By using soy wax, these candles will burn longer than a paraffin wax candle. The length of time your candle will last depends on if you are trimming your wick before each time that you are lighting it and allowing the wax to burn to the edges of the glass before extinguishing.

Do you use essential oils in your candles?

Fina Fragrances candles are produced with fragrances that are infused with essential oils. None of the products are produced with strictly essential oils. Essential oils tend to evaporate and lose their fragrance when used in creating candles or wax melts.

Fina Fragrances wax/ fragrance supplier only provides manufactured materials that meet FDA standards.

Can I re-purpose the glass my candle came in?

When you are done using your candle, place glass candle jar in the freezer. Once the wax has hardened, you can simply chip out the wax along with the wick. Use soap and water to remove wax and wick adhesive residue. Use as a drinking glass or simply clean and recycle.
